Returns, Replacements & Heat-Related Considerations
Due to the handcrafted, perishable, and often personalised nature of Barilliant products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind.
However, this does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery so we can assess and resolve the issue.
Every order is prepared with care and packaged to a high standard. Chocolate is inherently sensitive to heat, and conditions during transit are outside our control. If your order arrives with heat-related damage, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery, including your order number and clear photographs of the item and packaging.
All claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Where appropriate, Barilliant may offer a replacement or reshipment of the affected item.
Claims submitted outside the stated timeframe or without sufficient documentation may not be eligible for resolution.
Any replacement or resolution applies only to correctly addressed orders and the first delivery attempt. We cannot guarantee the condition of parcels that are delayed, redirected, or held by the carrier once dispatched.
Customers are responsible for ensuring all delivery details are accurate at checkout, including street address, venue name, unit or suite numbers, and recipient availability. Barilliant is not responsible for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information, or where the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery.
Orders that are returned, delayed, or rerouted due to address errors, delivery refusal, or recipient unavailability are not eligible for refund or replacement.
